Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 August 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of DocuZero (docuzero.com) and its tools. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

DocuZero provides free, browser-based utilities for working with PDF and image files. All processing happens locally in your browser; no account is required and no files are uploaded to our servers. The service is offered for personal and professional everyday use, free of charge.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use DocuZero only for lawful purposes and only with files you own or are authorised to process. You must not use the site to infringe intellectual property rights, process illegal content, or attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or misuse the service or the third-party libraries it relies on.

3. Your files and responsibility

Because everything runs on your device, you remain solely responsible for the files you process and for keeping your own backups. We never receive your files and therefore cannot recover, restore or be responsible for any file that is lost, altered or corrupted during processing. Always keep an original copy before converting or editing.

4. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Output quality depends on your input files, your device and your browser. We do not guarantee that every file or format will convert perfectly.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocuZero and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using the service.

6. Intellectual property

The DocuZero name, design and site content are the property of their respective owner. The tools are built on third-party open-source libraries, which remain the property of their authors and are used under their respective licences. You retain all rights to the files you process — we claim no ownership over them.

7. Third-party services

Subject to your consent, the site uses Google Analytics and may display Google AdSense advertising. Your use of those services is also subject to Google's terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for details on cookies and data.

8. Changes to the service and terms

We may add, change or remove tools and features, and may update these terms, at any time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place of establishment of the site's operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under your local law.
